First boot

WiFi and modems

Connect WiFi networks and discover plugged-in cellular modems.

Once you are signed in, open the Network page. Every plugged-in interface shows up automatically: WiFi cards, USB modems, M.2 modems, ethernet, and tethered phones.

Adding a WiFi network

  1. Open Network.
  2. Click "Scan" on the WiFi card. Pick a network from the list.
  3. Enter the password. Save.

The device remembers the network. Next boot, it reconnects automatically.

Cellular modems

Modems do not need configuration when the SIM is unlocked and the carrier uses a generic APN. The Network page shows signal strength, band, operator, and current data rate per modem.

If your carrier requires a specific APN, set it on the modem card. The setting is saved per SIM, not per modem, so swapping SIMs picks up the right APN automatically.

Tethered phones

USB-tethered phones show up as ethernet devices. Plug in, accept the tether prompt on the phone, and the device picks up the link in a few seconds.
